I'm doing it! The atmosphere was good, and the food was delicious, too.
I do not know for a moment.
In the eating log it is closed for the year-end and New Year holidays. I think that it is certain that I will contact the store. 03-3821-8126
Wonderful bento meal 🱠almost cried
I am amazed at the efforts that they put in to make these little pieces look so beautiful.Simple food but they taste wonderfully balanced. The desert green mochi is amazingly soft.
Food was delicious. But workers were bad.
A traditional Japanese architecture that houses a kaiseki restaurant. The view to the park and the city from where you dine is delightful. Foods are authentic with seasonal twist. The staffs are helpful and friendly. This is a restaurant that worth your visits many times.
delicious typical Japanese lunch with reasonable price. Showa era building.
The service is fantastic. The staffs are really attentive to your needs. We went there for lunch and got a private room. The chef seems to specialise in soy based food. There are many interpretation of it. We like the soy creme buree dessert best. Need reservation.
Very authentic, calm and beautiful. Food was good and well presented!
Atmospheric place, amazing service, delicate and very thought through, beautiful food. Me and my wife loved it.
One of the best meal in my life.New flavours in typical enviroment.I have seriously texted back home to search for umebashi I have discovered here!
Traditional kaiseki cuisine focusing on soybean. Wooden treehouse w nice scenary. Beautiful dish presentation exquisite variety. My wife loved it although I felt it was a bit overrated. More for ppl who enjoy healthy soy dishes and light flavours.
#foodreview for #googlemaps - starving #latelunch - told husband to find any place in #uenopark to eat that welcomes kids - this is a traditional dining place with sakura view - quite pricey but you feel like you are dining in #japanhour TV show 🇯🇵 we ended up feeling too full
Nice place to have a lunch in the Ueno park. You should wait in line unless you don’t have a reservation. The best way to avoid a long line is to put your name on the waiting list before you take a walk around the Ueno park. The food is too beautiful to have and the price is a bit expensive. However it’s pretty reasonable considering it’s a traditional Japanese Kaiseki cuisine. Most of all the service is excellent.
Traditional japanese sukiyaki restaurant with highlight on slices of duck meats, sushi set are also recommeded. The restaurant has 2 storeys with view of ueno park.Need advance reservation to make sure you get the seats and tables for enjoying view of tge park.it operates till late night.
Speaking of kaiseki cuisine in Ueno, it's Ryosho-tei. I think that it is a feature of the building where you can feel the atmosphere and only high quality food. I've been using it for business occasions a few times, but it is definitely a shop that will please you. It can be relaxed slowly and seems to be useful when performing celebrations. I've been with my wife, but I was delighted because there are various Japanese dessert menus.
Authentic Japanese menu with superb scenery in the middle of Ueno park
Cozy small tea rooms in Japanese traditional house. Menu is totally various Tofu cuisine and healthy.
Nice view. Interesting dishes and patiently explained in English.Japanese style seating. People with leg problems beware. They do offer some kinda "stools" tho.
Delicious traditional Japanese food with excellent service
Good atmosphere
Something so surreal about this place!
Very cool Japanese restaurant. They service entire course. Take 1.5hr+ to eat. Friendly and professional staff. Very traditional Japanese food. Worth the experience. But diner menu is not cheap. $60+ us dollar per person.
Came here over the new year period and they had special bentos to welcome in the new year. They were absolutely amazing.
Amazing kaiseki lunch. Beautiful location. English menu available. Immaculate service, a truly special experience.
Artistically prepared while maintaining a high level of flavor consistency.Everything was exquisite. The red beans were some of the sweetest yet balanced little morsels I could possibly imagine. The tempura was light and flaky. Absolutely no grease or soft spots.I recommend any of their omakase sets. All of them maintain traditional Japanese cuisine criteria.
Thanks to my Japanese customers to arrange this restaurant. So excellent traditional Japanese food with limited service as well as nice view can see from the restaurant.
Super
very unique experience to have traditional taste which may entitle to be intangible heritage.
Beautiful traditional Japanese house with very good food and service.
Nice place. Part of Tokyo's history with it's 140(something) years.Food is pretty and neatly prepared 😊
Great food and great price. Beautiful layout.
Unique restaurant specializing in traditional Japanese kaiseki cuisine. Sitting at the Tatami, the atmosphere is very interesting, the service is superb, the staff knows English. The dishes are very colorful.
A bit expensive but the food is nice. Great environment .
Extremely high quality, delicious and varied for a moderately priced kaiseki set in lush garden grounds near the Ueno Museum.
Very good food and impeccable service. The bento, their cheapest lunch option, is highly recommended. Take off your shoes and immerse yourself into this "fine dining at the counter" experience.
Just perfect. Amazing experience in this authentic Japanese restaurant at the heart of Ueno park. I chose the traditional lunch box and it was perfect and the service excellent. I'll come back again!
Nice architecture in a nice park. Especially the ambiance in rain is very good.
The food was a little strange for us, most of them had mochi-like textures. Feels exotic and a little bit icky and we wish we could appreciate it better. The place was superb though, definitely cozy enough to warm you up in the cold. I'd enjoy it better if there were more meat dishes 😆
This is such a beautiful restaurant with Japanese garden, the set lunch is divine and well worth the respite from the crowds and heat of Ueno Park. Came here twice. It's the door on the right as you face the building.
best place to rest when you are exhausted walking around
If your not looking you might miss this place. Thanks to my good friend Mr Bradshaw (fluent in Japanese) we got a table with a view and a beautiful early lunch. It's not water in that glass :)
Top service in this beautiful nest at the entrance of the Ueno park. Private tables ensure a cozy atmosphere. Food up to out expectations and consistent with processing.
Very comfortable and relax to have lunch here, the food is delicious
nice place to go with excellent food. book in advance, otherwise. need to wait for over 50min
Traditional Japanese food, with very polite service. There's also English menu and English speaking staff.
Wonderful views and a lovely setting. We had a fish course menu that included some tasty eel and shrimp.
Very nice traditional japanese restaurant where you take off you shoes and sit on the ground. The food is delicious and light (we had the traditional menu for lunch, after a visit to the National Museum). The prices are on the higher end. The service is very attentive and efficient.

Great service and fabulous hospitality.Perfect location and an amazing view at night time specially from window side sheets. The premise has over a century of its history and the building still contains its legacies.Every dish is arriving at right moment in the course meal.Warm ambient and hearty staff providing skillfully prepared food are just outstanding. Thank you my sister and your husband for bringing us here!
Amazing and scenic place for lunch. The kaiseiki here is fantastic. There is a long queue and the price tag is in the higher end. However, it is still worth for the experience.
Highly recommended for lunch. They have an English menu available - just ask. The bento is very good value at ~1600y, and there are other more advanced lunch sets too. Very accommodating staff, lovely food and beautiful surrounds.
